Pricing

Pricing will vary based on the below criteria per commission agreement.  Pricing factors all elements in paintings and are subject to the artist’s discretion.

• Acrylic or Oil

• Framed

• Size of canvas or panel

• Artist’s Hours 

• Shipping 

• Timeline*

• Design of artwork (ie, plain background, multiple pets, custom background, additional elements)

Examples:

(Left; this is a highly customized painting with multiple iterations of Simon and custom background. Oil, framed, 11x14”. Price: 350)

(Right; this is a baseline painting of a beloved cat named Milo, background is simple. Oil, Framed, 8x10”, rushed timeline. Price: 200)

A 50% deposit is required after the contract is signed by the client. 

*Pricing may increase depending on the timeline provided to the artist; if a rush is requested, pricing will reflect as such.  

Additional Details

Acrylic vs. Oil: This choice is entirely up to the client, though the artist prefers oils as they are easier to work with.  The pricing is slightly higher for oils, but not enough to significantly increase the price of a piece.  Please note that Oil paintings take longer to cure and will require more time with the artist.

Frames: The artist will offer to frame the piece for the client, if the client so wishes.  There are many types of frames available and the charge will be included in the price.  Framed pieces will be sealed on the backside and will include a certificate of authenticity foil.

Timeline: Artist will provide an estimated timeline to client and if a specific date is requested, the artist will adjust to the best of her abilities.  

Communication:  All communication must be via email for tracking purposes. 

Payment: Artist can offer pay plans for client if need be, but a minimum of 50% must be paid for commission to begin.  Payment will be made via Square invoicing.
